Age
The age rule
The legal gambling age in Québec is 18. Playground welcomes people of legal gambling age, 18 and over, on its website and at its premises. The land-based regulations of the Kahnawà:ke Gaming Commission also protect people under 18.
Which identity documents the door accepts is not published on the venue pages read. A call to the venue at (450) 635-7653 answers that question before a first visit. The venue also prints the help line 1-800-461-0140.

18 and over. A Playground Player's card is needed for the poker tables and the gaming machines (online or at Guest Services). A KGC self-exclusion covers all KGC-licensed land-based venues in Kahnawà:ke.
The card
The Player's card and Playground Rewards
Every player needs a Playground Player's card to use the poker tables and the gaming machines. Players get it online or at Guest Services. ORSO's own page says membership is free and can be set up on site. The same card is needed to dine at ORSO Trattoria Moderna, which takes walk-ins only.
Playground Rewards has five tiers: Silver, Gold, Red, Black and White. A tier is a level within the venue's loyalty program. White is by invitation. This guide publishes no point values or tier thresholds.
Self-exclusion
How self-exclusion works
Self-exclusion is a request a person makes to be kept out of gaming venues for a chosen period. At Kahnawà:ke venues it runs through the Kahnawà:ke Gaming Commission (KGC). Its Comprehensive Self-Exclusion covers all KGC-licensed land-based venues. The form goes to venue management or the KGC with a photo and two government IDs. At Playground, the forms are at the Player Services Desk.
The KGC does not consider a request to revoke, or cancel, before 6 months, or 2 years after a second request. A self-exclusion at Playground cannot be revoked before the chosen period ends. Loto-Québec runs a separate program that covers its own casinos, gaming halls and lotoquebec.com.
Notes
- Accepted identity documents are not published on the venue pages read, so a call to (450) 635-7653 is the check.
- A self-exclusion is chosen for a fixed period, and at Playground it cannot be revoked before that period ends.
